OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 26, 2016 – The Oklahoma City Thunder has recalled forwards Josh Huestis and Mitch McGary from the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA Development League, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.
Huestis has seen action in 15 games (all starts) for the Blue this season, averaging 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.20 blocks in 32.7 minutes per game. During last night’s 107-100 Blue victory over the Los Angeles D-Fenders, Huestis posted a double-double with 10 points to go along with 13 rebounds.
McGary has appeared in 14 games (nine starts) for the Blue this season after registering a team-high 23 points and 13 rebounds last night versus the D-Fenders. McGary is averaging 14.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.36 steals in 26.1 minutes per game with the Blue this season.
