Thunder to Hold Holiday Assist Drive Friday

Oklahoma City, Thursday, Dec. 6 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will hold a Toy Drive before Friday night’s game against the L.A. Lakers, collecting toys outside of Chesapeake Energy Arena starting at 6 p.m. The Toy Drive is part of the fifth annual Thunder Holiday Assist initiative, presented by Cox Communications.

Fans attending the game and those headed downtown Friday evening are encouraged to stop by the tents outside the northeast and northwest arena entrances and donate a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.

Every fan who makes a donation will be entered into a raffle to win Thunder prizes, including tickets and player-autographed items.

The team will continue to collect donations until the game’s scheduled tipoff time of 8:30 p.m.

Any fans still looking for tickets to the game can take part in the Kia Thunder Rewards Zone outside the box office; registration to win or purchase the final 100 pairs of tickets begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are also available on the NBATickets Resale Marketplace, the only source for guaranteed authentic fan-to-fan ticket sales, at THUNDER.NBA.COM.
