SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs announced today that they have waived guard Kirk Penney. He was originally signed on September 28. Penney appeared in one preseason game, scoring nine points in 17 minutes at Houston on October 7.
The Spurs roster now stands at 17.
