Voted 2014 NBA Mascot of the Year. Won NBA Video Skit of the Year in 2007, 2010, 2014, and 2015.Inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame in 2007. Named Mascot of the Year by GameOps.com in 2006. Named the NBA’s MVV (Most Valuable Varmint) for the 23rd time in his career in 2015-16. Always golfs with an extra sock in his pocket in case he gets a hole in one. Admits living in Bexar County scares him.

Memorable Moments:

On April 13th, 1983, the Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Lakers twice following their regularly scheduled game and a redo of their prior match-up’s final moments. This marked both The Coyote's first-ever appearance and the night he became the only NBA mascot to ever work a double-header. Saturday, March 30, 1991 Coyote marries Mrs. Coyote. In 2005, The Coyote became the first mascot to be ejected from a game… Texas Governor Rick Perry later pardoned him. During the 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend in Orlando, The Coyote broke the Guinness World Record for most under-the-leg dunks in a minute for a group of five. He might’ve left his heart in San Francisco, but he lost his eyes at a Spurs game in April 2014.
