Udonis Haslem 2014-15 Season Rundown

Season Rundown:

Throughout his career, Udonis Haslem has embodied what it means to be a professional. During the 2015 season, Haslem fought through a number of nagging injuries but always remained ready to contribute. His number was called once Chris Bosh went down for the remainder of the season due to blood clots on one of his lungs. As a result, Haslem’s minutes increased to 20.6 per game after the All-Star Break. As usual, Haslem fought hard on the glass and provided Miami with a physical presence inside. He also hit his first career 3-pointer on February 20 against the New York Knicks in a 13-point performance. Another notable game occurred on March 29 against the Detroit Pistons when Haslem posted season-highs in points (18) and rebounds (13). Unsurprisingly, Haslem also led the team in charges taken this past season with 16.

They Said It (Quote):

“When I had the opportunity and when I was needed to go out there and play big minutes, I was able to go out there and play big minutes and put up some pretty decent numbers. If these guys need me for whatever the situation may be, short minutes, big minutes, I just got to make sure I stay ready.” – Haslem on his production this past season
