HEAT Recall White From Skyforce

MIAMI, February 21 – The Miami HEAT announced today that they have recalled Okaro White from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

White, who was named as a NBA Development League All-Star, started in the game this past weekend totaling four points, two rebounds and two assists in 15:54 minutes of action. He was one of three players representing the Skyforce in the game, joining Keith Benson and Brianté Weber.

White has appeared in 14 games with the HEAT this season averaging 4.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 16.2 minutes while shooting 46.2 percent (18-of-39) from the field, 42.1 percent (8-of-19) from three-point range and 93.8 percent (15-of-16) from the foul line. Earlier this season, he appeared in 23 games (all starts) for the HEAT’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, and averaged 18.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.09 steals and 33.0 minutes while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 86 percent from the foul line. He helped the Skyforce to a division best 16-5 record while ranking second on the team in points (424), rebounds (201), field goals made (144), three-point field goals made (38) and free throws made (98).
