MIAMI, MAY 22 – The Miami HEAT is renewing its invitation to HEAT fans all over South Florida to leave their well wishes on the Cole Family’s good luck vehicle—a 1993 van owned by Cole’s parents, which has transported his family members to sporting events throughout his playing career.
Known affectionately as the “Green Machine,” the van has a storied championship history: whenever his family drove it to attend a championship game, Cole’s team invariably won the championship.
Fans are encouraged to inscribe good luck messages to the HEAT on the van with white markers with the goal of turning the Green Machine completely White Hot. Fans can leave their messages on the van tomorrow, Friday, May 23rd from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in front of the AmericanAirlines Arena (between Gates 1 and 2). All fans that leave a message will receive a free White Hot HEAT Fan Kit while supplies last as well as a coupon good for 10% discount redeemable at both AmericanAirlines Arena locations of The Miami HEAT Store—on the Mezzanine Level and By the Bay next to the Gate 4 Hublot entrance.
Free parking for this event will be available in the P2 parking garage below theArena.
The Green Machine will remain in front of the AmericanAirlines Arena at every home game throughout the duration of the HEAT post season.
