AmericanAirlines Arena Parking Advisory

MIAMI - With the ongoing growth and development of downtown Miami, fewer parking options in the immediate area surrounding AmericanAirlines Arena will be available to arena guests—beginning with Thursday’s Mańa concert scheduled for 8:00 p.m. A number of parking lots located directly adjacent to the facility have been permanently eliminated. Patrons attending the July 2nd “Cama Incendiada” show are strongly advised to consider alternative parking options, which include a variety of lots offering a flat rate and within a convenient walking distance of the Arena. A map indicating available event parking can be found here.

Arena guests are encouraged to plan ahead by reviewing their parking options, including:

Valet Parking: Limited pre-paid valet parking at AmericanAirlines Arena is available through Ticketmaster on a first come, first served basis. Limited public parking is also available in the Arena’s P2 Garage on a first come, first served basis.

ParkJockey App: ParkJockey, a free mobile application, website and parking rewards program helps users to locate and reserve parking in lots surrounding AmericanAirlines Arena—in advance or on the go—for all Arena events. Click here to learn more about ParkJockey.

As indicated on the attached map, plentiful public event parking is available at lots and garages surrounding the Arena including Bayside Marketplace (401 Biscayne Boulevard), Annex Garage (255 NE 1st Street), Miami Parking Authority’s College Garage (190 NE 3rd Street) and the Omni Garage (1645 Biscayne Boulevard). Event parking lots and garages remain open until the end of a concert/show.

Additionally, use of public transportation, including the Metrorail, Metrobus, Metromover and Miami Trolley, is strongly encouraged. Click here for more information.

Guests are encouraged to leave their cars at home by utilizing taxis or car sharing services. Guests are also invited to bike to AmericanAirlines Arena by renting a bicycle from one of dozens of CitiBike stations in the surrounding area, including one directly adjacent to the Arena on the Northeast corner of 8th Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
