Memphis Grizzlies re-assign Jordan Adams to NBA Development League’s Iowa Energy

The Memphis Grizzlies re-assigned rookie guard Jordan Adams to the NBA Development League’s Iowa Energy, the Grizzlies’ exclusive D-League affiliate, the team announced today. Adams will begin his third assignment with Iowa.

Adams (6-5, 209) has averaged 14.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.00 steals in 30.0 minutes in four games through his first two assignments with the Energy, scoring in double digits three times. The 20-year-old has totaled six points, three rebounds, five assists and three steals in 41 minutes in four appearances this season for the Grizzlies.

The Atlanta native was selected by Memphis in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2014 NBA Draft after two seasons at UCLA (2012-14).
