Single game tickets for all 41 regular season home games of the Cleveland Cavaliers 2015-16 season presented by Discount Drug Mart are going on sale Wednesday, September 30th. There will be two ways fans can purchase tickets to the games of their choice for the entire regular season at Quicken Loans Arena. The Cavs tip off their home schedule on Friday, October 30th vs. the Miami Heat at 7:00 p.m.
The Cavaliers will offer an EXCLUSIVE PRESALE OPPORTUNITY for fans to purchase single game tickets hours before they go on sale to the general public. Starting at 10:00 a.m. on September 30th, current and new subscribers to Cavaliers Insider presented by Medical Mutual — the team's free e-newsletter — will have priority access to purchase tickets on a first-come, first-served basis and while supplies last. The Cavaliers single game ticket purchase procedure for the upcoming 2015-16 season is different from last season when the team used a monthly lottery to manage the initial surge and unprecedented demand for tickets. Under the lottery format, registered fans were randomly selected for the chance to purchase tickets that were released each month for future games.
This year, fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for any game of the entire regular season home schedule when individual tickets first go on sale. Similar to last season, there will be over 50,000 individual game tickets available for purchase spread over all 41 regular season home games. This fan-friendlier process adjustment was determined based on fan feedback and monitoring of game-by-game demand for ticket inventory and purchasing data during the 2014-15 season.
Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the Cavs Insider priority presale for the best chance to get available seating locations for the games they want to attend. Please note these important elements as well:
- Current Insider subscribers will automatically be registered for the presale opportunity.
- Fans who sign up to become a Cavaliers Insider by Monday, September 28th at 5:00 p.m. will qualify for the presale.
- Fans who registered for the 2014-15 lottery or the 2015 Playoff Access must be a Cavaliers Insider subscriber to be eligible for the 2015-16 presale.
- All Cavaliers Insider subscribers will receive an email notification that will include a unique password and link to an online order site which will detail all ordering guidelines.
- There is a six (6) ticket limit per transaction, per game (no game limit). Tickets will be distributed through Flash Seats, the Cavs official electronic ticketing platform.
FLASH SEATS MARKETPLACE OPENS: Fans can still also purchase guaranteed single game tickets in the Flash Seats secondary ticket marketplace, which will also open on September 30th at noon. Flash Seats is the primary method of ticketing for the Cavaliers and is the only official team-sanctioned secondary marketplace where fans have the ability to buy, transfer and resell their game seats in a safe, secure and 100% guaranteed digital marketplace.
