Chicago Bulls announce 2015-16 schedule

August 12, 2015 - The Chicago Bulls will tip off their 50th season on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the United Center, when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers in their season opener. The game will be nationally televised on TNT, with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m. (CT).

On Oct. 28, the Bulls will hit the road for the first time when they travel to Brooklyn to take on the Nets at the Barclays Center, with a tip-time set for 6:30 p.m. (CT).

Other prominent games on this season’s home schedule include: the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors on Jan. 20; a second visit from the Cavaliers on April 9; the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 30; the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 21; the Los Angeles Clippers on Dec. 10; the Oklahoma City Thunder on Nov. 5; the Houston Rockets on March 5; the Memphis Grizzlies on Dec. 16; two visits from the Washington Wizards on Jan. 11 and Feb. 24 and two visits from the Miami Heat on Jan. 25 and March 11.

For the sixth consecutive season Chicago will see action on Christmas Day, as the Bulls travel to Chesapeake Energy Arena to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game, one of five that day in the NBA, will air nationally on ABC at 1:30 p.m. (CT).

Chicago is presently scheduled to appear on national television a total of 32 times. The Bulls will play on TNT 10 times, NBA TV nine times, ESPN eight times and ABC five times. Chicago’s local television schedule will be announced in the very near future.
