November 16, 2015 - The Chicago Bulls and American Express today announced the 2015-16 season launch of the Home Court Advantage series, which will provide fans with unique video content that shares stories of Bulls players, fans and Chicago businesses. The series, produced by award-winning BullsTV, will include a variety of features and short vignettes with outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage of players both on and off the court.
In conjunction with the season launch of the series, the video released today features Tony Snell as he visits a local Chicago business while discussing his off-the-court music and video gaming interests and growing up in Los Angeles as a Chicago Bulls fan. The other videos featured in the series will showcase different Bulls players visiting places they consider “home” including Taj Gibson in Brooklyn, Pau Gasol in Los Angeles and Jimmy Butler in Tomball, Texas.
The Chicago Bulls American Express Home Court Advantage series was highlighted last season through the story of Joakim Noah’s visit to New York City, which captured his memories of growing up in the city and his childhood dreams of playing professional basketball. The feature was recognized for international excellence with a Bronze Sports Clio Award and was also nominated for an Emmy Award by the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Future videos in the Home Court Advantage series will be released throughout the season.
All video features and video vignettes that are a part of the Bulls American Express Home Court Advantage series will live on Bulls.com on the Home Court Advantage microsite, and will be available in the Bulls mobile app within the American Express Home Court Advantage tab. The Bulls mobile app is available for free download on both the iPhone and Android platforms through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The video features will also be shown in-arena, and both the features and vignettes will be shared via Bulls’ social media channels throughout the season.
