Bulls tip off 2013-14 season with opening night entertainment

WHAT:

The Chicago Bulls are welcoming fans back to the United Center with special Halloween-themed entertainment to celebrate the first 2013-14 regular season home game. The Bulls will take on the New York Knicks with gates opening at 5:30 p.m., and tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend the game in costume.*

Fans will enjoy Halloween-themed entertainers throughout the concourse before the game. Entertainment will include the Joe Black Midnight Spook Show, Master Magician Ron Fitzgerald and the full cast of the Midnight Madness Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The national anthem will be performed by Jesse Campbell, a Chicago native and finalist on the second season of NBC’s “The Voice.” Jesse will be accompanied by the Bulls’ Stampede Drumline.

The game will begin with a unique opening sequence featuring Bud Light glow wands and the introduction of the entire team. Both the Bulls and the Knicks will be wearing alternate uniforms in honor of Halloween, with the Bulls in black and the Knicks in orange.

At halftime, the Bulls Entertainment Network performers will put on the “Bulls Halloween Spooktacular,” a one-of-a-kind production presented by Bud Light.
