Bulls sign forward Malcolm Thomas to 10-day contract

March 19, 2013 -- The Chicago Bulls today signed forward Malcolm Thomas to a 10-day contract. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Thomas (6-9, 225) comes to the Bulls after a stint with the Golden State Warriors. In five games with the Warriors, he scored three points and grabbed five boards. He also appeared in two NBA Development League games this season (one with the Santa Cruz Warriors and one with the Los Angeles D-Fenders). While in the D-League, he averaged 10.5 ppg, 16.0 rpg and 4.0 apg.

The 24-year old native of Columbia, Mo., began his collegiate career at Pepperdine before playing two seasons at San Diego State.

With his signing, Chicago’s roster now stands at 15.
