October 3, 2013 – The Chicago Bulls announced today that the Univision America network will broadcast 41 regular season games during the 2013-14 season. 38 games will be broadcast on WRTO-AM and three games will be heard on WVIV-FM. This year marks the fifth season WRTO-AM will broadcast Bulls games in Spanish.
“We are delighted to once again be able to offer Bulls radio broadcast in Spanish to our Hispanic fans,” said Steve Schanwald, Bulls Executive Vice President of Business Operations. “Doing so plays a critical role, as we attempt to grow new and more passionate Bulls fans in this important demographic.”
Omar Ramos and Matt Moreno will call all Univision Bulls games on both WRTO-AM and WVIV-FM, with Ramos continuing to serve as the play-by-play announcer and Moreno in his second full season as the analyst. This season, WRTO-AM will air a weekly show called, “El Corral De Los Bulls” (The Bullpen), which will feature commentary from both Ramos and Moreno. Each week the broadcast team will recap all of the on-court action and preview upcoming Bulls matchups.
