Bulls guard C.J. Watson to host "Vegas Nights" charity fundraiser on Jan. 30 at the Chicago Cultural Center

January 4, 2011 – Chicago Bulls point guard C.J. Watson and the Quiet Storm Foundation will host a star-studded evening of social elegance with Vegas-style ambiance and entertainment. The “Vegas Nights” charity fundraising reception will offer an esteemed opportunity for the Chicago community to partake in a worthy event to help raise funds for three Chicago public schools; Robeson High School, Sumner Elementary Academy, and Nicholson Elementary School.

The event will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Chicago Cultural Center, Sydney R. Yates Gallery (78 E. Washington Street | Chicago, IL) from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy a lavish array of butler passed hors d’oeuvres, open bar, free casino-style entertainment and live music. Guests will receive grand prize giveaways and also have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction and raffle.

Watson’s Foundation began its journey of hope in the Chicago area with the intent to make a difference in the lives of many young people and their families. The Foundation offers opportunities to collaborate and partner with many businesses and agencies to link educational, academics and social development opportunities to students that will enhance their potential to be a better student.
