April 23, 2012 -- The Chicago Bulls and Joakim Noah teamed up with Kia Motors America to host the Kia Art Supply Drive at Saturday’s game. Proceeds from the drive will support Noah’s Arc Foundation, the Bulls center’s charitable organization that focuses on empowering children through the combination of arts and sports.

Prior to the Saturday’s tip-off, fans were encouraged to drop off new or unused art supplies at any of the United Center admission gates. Much needed art supply donations included watercolor paints, markers, drawing pencils, colored pencils, crayons and sketchbooks.

The first 250 fans that attended the game and donated new or unused art supplies received a voucher which allowed them to meet Noah and receive his autograph directly following the game.

Fans not attending Saturday’s game can still assist in the collection by donating art supplies to any of the 24 local Kia dealerships until Monday, April 23. To find the nearest Kia dealership, visit www.kia.com. Monetary donations to the virtual Kia Art Supply Drive will also be accepted at Bulls.com/kiaartdrive. Kia Motors is the Official Vehicle (Optima sedan) of the Chicago Bulls.

Noah’s Arc Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Joakim Noah and his mother Cecilia Rodhe, an expressive art therapist and renowned sculptor. The Foundation helps children develop confidence and a stronger sense of self through a powerful combination of the physicality and discipline of sports and the emotional open mindedness of art. Brought together, these two life skills encourage kids to grow into well-balanced, more confident adults who can express the purity of their true thoughts and feelings.

Kia Motors America is the marketing and distribution arm of Kia Motors Corporation based in Seoul, South Korea. KMA offers a complete line of vehicles through more than 755 dealers throughout the United States and serves as the "Official Automotive Partner" of the NBA and LPGA.
