December 20, 2013 -- Carlos Boozer visited with patients and their families at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago on Friday. Boozer was joined by Nancy Reinsdorf, President of Chicago Bulls Charities, and Leslie Forman, Vice President of Chicago Bulls Charities. Each patient received a gift personally donated by Boozer during his visit.
The Bulls have a longstanding relationship with Lurie Children’s and throughout the year other players and team ambassadors come to the hospital to spend time with patients. In October, the Bulls unveiled the results of a year-long project to renovate and redecorate the recently-renamed Chicago Bulls Charities Teen Lounge, a special, treatment-free space for patients 13 and older.
Boozer’s visit is one of several events that the Bulls are organizing this holiday season as part of NBA Cares Season of Giving.
