Tipoff Week Events Scheduled For Oct. 28 - Nov. 2

Bucks Tipoff Week is back. To welcome the NBA season in Milwaukee, the Bucks have planned a series of events which will begin on today, Oct. 28 and culminate with the 2013 home opener on Saturday, Nov. 2, when the Bucks host the Toronto Raptors at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Bucks Tipoff Week will consist of a full slate of fan appreciation events, including lunch for a buck at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and viewing parties to watch Milwaukee’s road games at New York and Boston – all to boost Bucks fan spirit and awareness in advance of the 2013-14 season.

Below is a schedule of events for Bucks Tipoff Week. Additional details will be distributed in the days leading up to each event.

Monday, Oct. 28
MMAC Bucks Preview Luncheon
Join the Bucks and the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce for a preview luncheon at the Hyatt Regency on Kilbourn Avenue from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Guests will get inside information on Bucks hoops from Head Coach Larry Drew and General Manager John Hammond, along with the opportunity to participate in a free throw contest and silent auction. The entire Bucks roster will also be in attendance. For more details, contact Karen Powell at (414) 287-4166. Wednesday, Oct. 30
Bucks at New York Knicks Viewing Party at Major Goolsby’s
Bucks fans can gather together and watch the first regular season Bucks game at Major Goolsby’s (340 W. Kilbourn Ave.) The party will get started at 6 p.m., with tipoff at 6:30 p.m. Drink specials include $2.75 Coors Light taps and $3 Coors Light bottles available through halftime. Bango and the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers will be on hand to host drawings to win Bucks prizes while fans watch FOX Sports Wisconsin’s telecast of the game.

Thursday, Oct. 31
Wendy’s Take Over Lunch
All 53 participating southeastern Wisconsin Wendy’s Restaurants will be offering customers a $10 ticket voucher, good for $10 towards Bucks ticket purchases for any game in November.

In addition, Bucks entertainment groups will visit two select Wendy’s locations:

43rd & Lincoln - 10:30 a.m. - noon
124th & Burleigh - 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Bango, the Bucks’ award-winning mascot, the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and Hoop Troop team members will be handing out prizes to Wendy’s guests, including Bucks tickets and merchandise.

Friday, Nov. 1
Lunch for a Buck
The Bucks will wrap up the work week by inviting fans to enjoy a pizza party in the BMO Harris Bradley Center’s east atrium, presented by Palermo’s Pizza, from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch will cost only $1, and all proceeds will benefit the House of Peace. Participating partners at the pizza party include Palermo’s, Pepsi Cola and Pick ’n Save. Bango, members of the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and Hoop Troop will add to the fun that includes music, interactive games, contests and prizes. Bucks Opening Night tickets will be among the prizes offered. All are welcome, and entry will be through the Northwestern Mutual Gate at Fourth and State Streets.

Bucks at Boston Celtics Viewing Party at Replay
The Bucks will host another viewing party at Replay Sports Bar (2238 N. Farwell Ave, where Farwell and North intersect) for fans to watch the team’s second game of their opening road trip. The party will get going at 6 p.m., with tipoff at 6:30 p.m., and $3 bottles of Coors Light available through halftime. Bango and the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers will be back again to host prize drawings while fans enjoy the FOX Sports Wisconsin telecast.

Saturday, Nov. 2
OPENING NIGHT – Bucks vs. Raptors – 7:30 p.m.
After a week’s worth of activities, Bucks Tipoff Week culminates with the home opener on Saturday, Nov. 2, when the Bucks host the Toronto Raptors at 7:30 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Tickets are still available for Opening Night of the 46th Milwaukee Bucks season. Fans can purchase tickets at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Box Office, through TicketMaster (1-800-4NBA-TIX) or on Bucks.com. Bucks ticket packages are also available online at Bucks.com or by calling 414-227-0500. All fans in attendance will receive a free Bucks home opener T-shirt.
