Bucks Announce Preseason Radio Schedule

All seven Milwaukee Bucks 2013 preseason games will be broadcast on the Bucks Radio Network, the team announced today. Five games will be aired via 620 WTMJ, the team’s flagship station, and two games will be heard on SportsRadio 1250 WSSP. WTMJ will begin radio coverage from Cleveland for the Bucks preseason opener on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Ted Davis begins his 17th season as the “Radio Voice of the Bucks” and will be joined for home games by Dennis Krause, who starts his 18th season as analyst on the Bucks Radio Network.

The Bucks will play three Wisconsin-based home games during the 2013 preseason, including two at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and one at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Tickets for the Bucks three home preseason games are currently on sale.

The Bucks will make their first BMO Harris Bradley Center appearance of the preseason on Saturday, Oct. 12, when they host the Charlotte Bobcats. Milwaukee will close out its BMO Harris Bradley Center preseason slate with the 37th Annual MACC Fund Game on Friday, Oct. 25 vs. the Toronto Raptors. This annual event is the cornerstone of the Bucks 37-year founding commitment to Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer. Since the inaugural event in 1977, the annual MACC Fund Game has raised more than $1.3 million dollars for children’s cancer research at the Midwest Children’s Cancer Center in Milwaukee.

Sandwiched between Milwaukee’s two BMO Harris Bradley Center games is a return to the Resch Center in Green Bay, where the Bucks will host an exhibition game for the second straight season. Fans in Green Bay and northeastern Wisconsin are invited to come out to the Resch Center on Wednesday, Oct. 23 to see the Bucks take on Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks.

The Bucks tip off their preseason slate at the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The remainder of the preseason schedule includes road matchups against the Minnesota Timberwolves (in Sioux Falls, S.D.) on Thursday, Oct. 10, the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, Oct. 15, and the Chicago Bulls on Monday, Oct. 21.
