Daniel Hamilton – Connecticut – Sophomore

08/08/95 – 6’7” – 195 lbs – Guard/Forward

  • Named to the 2015-16 AAC All-Conference Second Team as a sophomore after averaging 12.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game
  • Voted Most Outstanding Player of the 2016 AAC Championship
  • One of only two Division I players in the country (along with LSU’s Ben Simmons) in 2015-16 to register more than 450 points, 300 rebounds and 150 assists
  • Led the conference in rebounding as a sophomore and led the AAC in rebounding in conference games in each of his two seasons with the Huskies
  • Selected as the AAC Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2014-15 after averaging 10.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game

 

Troy Williams – Indiana – Junior

12/30/94 – 6’7” – 210 lbs – Forward

  • Averaged 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as a junior in 2015-16
  • Named to the All-Big Ten Third Team following his junior season
  • Led the Hoosiers with 39 steals in 2015-16
  • Ranked third in the Big Ten in rebounding as a sophomore, hauling in 7.4 rebounds in addition to 13.0 points and 2.0 assists per game
  • Played in 99 games (94 starts) over three seasons with Indiana, shooting 52.2 percent from the field in his career

 

Thon Maker – Athlete Institute Academy (Ontario)

02/25/97 – 7’1” – 223 lbs – Forward/Center

  • Selected as the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association League MVP, Finals MVP and First-Team All-Star in 2015-16 while playing with the Athlete Institute Academy in Mono, Ontario
  • Represented the World Select Team at the Nike Hoop Summit
  • Led the Canada Elite AAU team to the title game of the Under Armour 17-and-under league after averaging 16.5 points and 11.8 rebounds during the finals in 2015
  • Averaged 21.3 points, 13.3 rebounds and 4.2 blocks per game in 2013-14 at Carlisle High School in Martinsville, Virginia
  • Named Gatorade Virginia Boys Basketball Player of the Year in 2013-14
  • Originally from South Sudan, but emigrated to Australia with his family when he was eight before moving to the United States as a teen to play high school basketball

 

Brice Johnson – North Carolina – Senior

06/27/94 – 6’10” – 230 lbs – Forward

  • Consensus First Team All-American as a senior after averaging 17.0 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 assists per game
  • Became the fifth Tar Heel in the last 39 seasons to average a double-double for a season
  • Set the North Carolina record for rebounds with 416 as a senior in 2015-16
  • One of three ACC players in the last 25 years to shoot at least 60 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the free-throw line in the same season
  • Led with ACC and was fifth in Division I in double-doubles with a UNC-record 23
  • Third Team All-ACC pick as a junior after averaging 12.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game

 

Chinanu Onuaku (chih-NAH-noo on-ooh-AHH-koo)– Louisville – Sophomore

11/01/96 – 6’10” – 245 lbs – Forward

  • Averaged 9.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.6 assists per game as a sophomore in 2015-16
  • Named to the ACC All-Defensive team as a sophomore, ranking eighth in the ACC in rebounding (8.5 rpg) and third in blocked shots (2.0 bpg)
  • Had 11 double-doubles in 2015-16 and his 10 double-doubles in ACC games ranked second in the league
  • Helped the United States to a gold medal at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship in Greece
  • Played in 66 games in two seasons with the Cardinals, shooting 61.9 percent from the field

 

Darnell Harris – Middle Tennessee State – Senior

02/02/92 – 6’8” – 231 lbs – Forward

  • Averaged 11.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game as a senior in 2015-16
  • Finished in the top-10 for career 3-point percentage at Middle Tennessee State, making 38.8 percent of his shots from beyond the arc
  • Played in 71 games (45 starts) with the Raiders over two seasons from 2014-2016
  • Began his college career at Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2012-13 before transferring to Northwest Florida State for the 2013-14 season
  • From Milwaukee and attended high school at Milwaukee Hamilton
