Welcome Reception for Coach Larry Drew

Asha Family Services, Inc is welcoming Bucks Head Coach, Larry Drew, to Milwaukee on Friday, July 26. The reception and fundraiser will be held at Ryan Braun's Graffito. The event will both raise awareness about domestic violence and raise money to help reduce the
incidence of domestic violence and related linkages to homicides and homelessness within
fragile underserved families and their communities. The funds raised will be used to support Asha's general operations, specifically to purchase equipment for our Sistahs' Café & Deli (i.e., grill/hood and a soft-serve ice cream machine). The Sistahs' Café & Deli is Asha's job-training program and site. This micro-enterprise is a unique sustainability strategy for the agency. The income derived from this business is used for the provision of job training skills and work experience for DV survivors.
