Bucks Surprise Students with Supplies

Equipped with enough school supplies for more than 2,000 students, Bucks players Giannis Antetokounmpo (YAHN-iss ah-deh-toh-KOON-boh) and Nate Wolters visted three Milwaukee schools on Wednesday, Sept. 25, as part of the annual Bucks Back-to-School Distribution.

Schools on this year's route included Cass Street School, Siefert Elementary and Carver Academy. At each stop, players spoke to two classrooms, ranging from second to seventh grades, about the importance of education before passing out enough supplies for the entire school.

To date, the Bucks have distributed more than 20,000 sets of supplies to Milwaukee public schools, each including binders, folders, paper, pens, pencils, notebooks and crayons.
