MILWAUKEE (AP) Brandon Knight scored 30 points, Ramon Sessions added 22 and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Los Angeles Lakers 108-105 on Thursday night to break an eight-game losing streak.
The Bucks swept the season series with the Lakers for the first time since 2006-07. Knight scored a career-high 37 points in Milwaukee's 94-79 victory on Dec. 31 in the other meeting.
Khris Middleton added 14 points for the Milwaukee, which won for only the 14th time this season.
Jordan Hill had 28 points and 16 rebounds for the Lakers, while Nick Young added 17 points.
Young hit a 3-pointer and Hill made a jumper to trim the lead to 103-99 with 1:43 remaining.
Knight's 17-foot jumper then gave the Bucks a six-point lead. Young countered by hitting a 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining, but the Lakers were unable to foul and Zaza Pachulia's layup made it 107-102.
Kent Bazemore hit a desperation 3-pointer for the Lakers with 2 seconds remaining, but Sessions was fouled and hit one of two free throws to make the score 108-105 with 0.6 seconds remaining. Young was unable to get off a final shot.
The Lakers played without Pau Gasol, who was out with vertigo for the second straight game, and Steve Nash, who has missed 18 of the team's last 19 games with nerve irritation.
Notes: The Bucks announced Thursday that forward Ersan Ilyasova would be sidelined for the remainder of the season with a right ankle and foot injury. ... O.J. Mayo also missed the game for the Bucks as he sprained his ankle in the team's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. . Lakers center Chris Kaman arrived at the arena just 30 minutes before the game, but still started and scored 13 points.

With tonight’s win the Bucks earned a 2-0 sweep over the Lakers this season. The Bucks now have a 5-1 (.833) mark against the Lakers since December 2010, which is tied for Milwaukee’s best record against any opponent over that span (10-2/.833 vs. Toronto).
Tonight’s game was Milwaukee’s last against the Western Conference. The Bucks finished with a 3-27 mark against the West.
Milwaukee shot 55.7 percent from the field tonight. It’s the eighth time this season the Bucks have shot better than 50 percent from the field, with Milwaukee now 5-3 in those games.
Tonight also marked the fourth consecutive game in which the Bucks have shot 48 percent or better from the field. The Bucks haven’t had a similar four-game run since the 2006-07 season. Milwaukee is shooting a combined 161-of-320 (.503) from the field over the last four games.
Brandon Knight (30 points) recorded his team-leading 28th game with 20+ points this season. Knight averaged 33.5 points in his two matchups with the Lakers this season.
After scoring a season-high 28 points on Monday at the Clippers, Ramon Sessions added another 22 tonight – the first time this season he’s had back-to-back 20-point games. Sessions is averaging 19.4 points per game in his last seven appearances.
Jordan Hill had eight points and seven rebounds in the first quarter alone tonight and had his 10th double-double of the season by halftime. He finished with a career-high-tying 28 points and 16 rebounds as the Lakers fell to 3-1 this season when Hill posts a 20/10 game.
