Modest production in return
Wood returned to action after missing the past eight games due to a thumb injury. Despite the Mavericks being down on numbers, Wood came off the bench, playing just 19 minutes. The coaching staff was likely easing him back in given the layoff, possibly reassuring managers that he will trend up in the near future. The addition of Kyrie Irving to the roster is going to impact Wood's offensive opportunities. He remains a 12-team asset, although it is possible he may have already peaked this season.

Erupts for career-high 29 points
Hardy ended with a career-high 29 points in 26 minutes, helping power the Mavericks to victory. Both he and Josh Green were outstanding, providing fans with a glimpse into the future. Once Luka Doncic (heel) and Kyrie Irving (trade) are back in the lineup, Hardy will almost certainly play a reduced role. He is someone to look at in deeper fantasy formats, at least until we get an idea of exactly what his role looks like ROS.

Career-best performance Monday
Green starred in the victory, turning in the best performance of his young career. With both Luka Doncic (heel) and Kyrie Irving (trade) unavailable, Green stepped into the starting lineup and certainly delivered. His minutes had been trending up prior to the trade, giving hope that his role could exceed 30 minutes on a nightly basis moving forward. While he obviously won't be this good once the team is at full strength, he is worth adding in slightly deeper formats. For those in standard leagues, taking a flier on him isn't the worst idea in the world.
