Wizards Announce Training Camp Schedule

The Washington Wizards released today their complete training schedule for 2010-11 training camp, to be held at the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Training camp will begin with a “Midnight Tip-off” practice on Sept. 28 and conclude with a FanFest and open scrimmage on Oct. 3.

The Midnight Tip-off practice will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28, and will feature player introductions, an open practice, giveaways, ticket offers for regular season Wizards games and special incentives for George Mason students, as well as giveaways from Dunkin Donuts and Chik-Fil-A. Doors for the Midnight Tip-off practice will open at 11:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27. The FanFest will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, and will include family entertainment, drills and instruction for young fans and an open scrimmage that will tip off at 12:30 p.m. Both events will be open to the public and free of charge.

Practice times are subject to change.
