- Tonight’s game is the first of four meetings between the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics. The Celtics won the season series last season, 3-1.

- Last game versus Boston...In their last contest against the Boston Celtics, the Wizards beat Boston 106-96 on Friday, April 9th. Andray Blatche scored a game-high 31 points and also grabbed 11 rebounds. Nick Young dropped in 19 points and JaVale McGee finished with a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in just 21 minutes of action.
- In the last two games, Gilbert Arenas has averaged 25.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 5.0 three pointers per game while shooting 50% from the field.
