• Tonight’s game is the first of four meetings between the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics. The Celtics won the season series last season, 3-1.
• Last game versus Toronto...The Washington Wizards knocked off the Toronto Raptors, 109-94, on November 16th at Verizon Center...Andray Blatche led the Wizards recording 22 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. In his first start of the season, Gilbert Arenas finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists...Kirk Hinrich recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 assists...Nick Young added 20 points off the bench...
• Last game versus Boston...In their last contest against the Boston Celtics, the Wizards beat Boston 106-96 on Friday, April 9th. Andray Blatche scored a game-high 31 points and also grabbed 11 rebounds. Nick Young dropped in 19 points and JaVale McGee finished with a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in just 21 minutes of action.
• In the last two games, Gilbert Arenas has averaged 25.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 5.0 three pointers per game while shooting 50% from the field.
• The 36 points the Wizards scored in the third quarter against the Toronto Raptors is the most points they have scored in the third quarter this season.
• The Wizards had a 22 point lead heading into the fourth quarter against the Raptors. Their largest lead entering the fourth quarter prior to last night's game was six.
