Wizards Magazine Wins Emmy Award

The Washington Wizards’ documentary “Wizards Magazine-The Journey," which chronicled the team’s 2010-11 season, won a Capital Emmy in the category of editing during yesterday’s award ceremonies. The winning entry titled “Living the Game” was filmed and edited by Director/Producer Jumoke Davis and Cinematographer Kevin Bradley with Danny Zollars serving as the Executive Producer. This was the first nomination and win for Wizards Magazine since the 2005-06 season. The show airs on the team’s broadcast partner, Comcast SportsNet, with episodes also available on the team’s official website, www.washingtonwizards.com.

In addition, “Wizards Magazine-The Journey” and Davis were recently awarded the Bronze Telly Award in both the television sports and television editing categories. The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries annually from the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, interactive agencies and corporations in the world.
