Game Recap: Wizards 98 - Heat 103

The Wizards 9 game home winning streak came to a close at the hands of the Heat, 103-98. The Wizards lost the season series to the Heat 3-1.

The Heat were playing minus James, Wade and Bosh and without them, they decided to unload a barrage of three pointers. The Heat took 41 threes in the game, making 17 of them for 41%. The Wizards led for most of the way, holding a four point lead at the half thanks to some sloppy play from the Heat. After three, the Wizards still led by three, but it was the fourth quarter where the wheels fell off for the Wizards. The Heat opened the fourth on a 14-2 run and the Wizards never recovered, losing the fourth quarter by eight points and the game by five.

AJ Price tied a career high with 23 points, 10 of which came in the fourth quarter. John Wall just missed a triple-double, going for 17 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds. Nene finished with 13 points and Martell Webster had 12.

For the Heat, five finished in double figures led by Ray Allen with 23 and 17 for Rashard Lewis.

The Wizards next will close out their home schedule against the 76ers on Friday night.
