The Toronto Raptors announced Saturday they have recalled centre Lucas Nogueira (no-GARE-uh) from their NBA Development League affiliate, Raptors 905. He is expected to be in uniform Sunday when the Raptors face the Los Angeles Clippers at STAPLES Center (3:30 p.m. ET).
Nogueira appeared in two games with the Raptors before he was assigned November 13 to Raptors 905. He played in four games with Raptors 905, averaging 9.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 22.0 minutes. He had 13 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four blocks in 27 minutes Thursday versus Maine in Raptors 905’s home opener.
