Adidas Eurocamp Recap: Day 3

Tarik El-tyeb for Raptors.com

Day 3 consisted of some light drill work and short scrimmages in the morning followed by two games in the afternoon. By this point however, most scouts and executives in attendance knew who to look out for. These games were slightly dampened by a few players that had left Eurocamp to return to their respective teams or other events they were attending. The biggest such name was Ioannis Papapetrou who we highlighted in our Day 1 Recap.

Today instead of picking three players I will put together my starting five from the Adidas Eurocamp as a whole.

PG: Vasa Micic

- 6’5- 20 years old- Played last season with Mega Vizura of the Serbian league- Draft Projection: Late first/Early second round

What he did to impress:-  Extremely creative in pick and roll situations both with scoring and play making-  Showed the ability to quarterback a team on the court-  Displayed a good 3-point shooting touch

SG: Nemanja Dangubic

What he did to impress:

-  Consistently moved very well without the ball and was able to exploit the defense by finding openings-  Uses his length and athleticism very well on the defensive side of the ball-  Showed a nice shooting stroke although will have to continue to develop this to become a consistent 3-point threat-  Rebounded the ball very well at both ends
