AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons announced today their training camp roster and that the club has signed Eric Griffin and Jordan Bachynski to training camp contracts. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Griffin, a 6-8, 205 forward played for the Texas Legends of the NBA's Developmental League last season. In 49 games, he averaged 19.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.4 blocks in 35.2 minutes. The Orlando native played collegiately at Campbell University and went undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft.
Bachynski, a 7-2, 248 pound center split time between the Westchester Knicks of the NBA's Developmental League and Eskisehir Basket of the Turkish Basketball League. In 18 games with the Westchester Knicks, the Calgary native averaged 6.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in 19.0 minutes. In four games with Eskisehir Basket, he averaged 2.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes. Bachynski played collegiately at Arizona State and went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft.
