NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans will open the preseason schedule against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City, La. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CST.
“We look forward to returning to Bossier City to play in front of Pelicans fans in north Louisiana,” said Pelicans General Manager Dell Demps. “The Shreveport-Bossier City Sports Commission did a tremendous job of hosting us two years ago and the fan support was incredible. On behalf of the Pelicans organization, we want to thank everyone involved for their hard work to make this event happen.”
The Pelicans previously hosted the Mavericks in a preseason contest at the CenturyLink Center on October 23, 2014.
