Five things to know about the Pelicans on April 6 (4/6/14)

1) New Orleans (32-44) will visit Portland (49-28) at 8 p.m. Central tonight, wrapping up a three-game Western Conference road trip. Tonight’s game begins a stretch of six consecutive contests in which the Pelicans’ opponent is part of the West playoff race.

2) With the game tipping off at 6 p.m. Pacific local time in Oregon, the Pelicans are not holding shootaround this morning. We’ll pick up coverage with our pregame report an hour-plus prior to tip.

3) Anthony Davis’ status for Sunday’s game is to be determined.

4) Speaking of Davis, he and Darius Miller’s Kentucky Wildcats pulled out a thrilling win Saturday in the Final Four over teammate Greg Stiemsma’s Wisconsin Badgers.
