1) New Orleans (32-44) will visit Portland (49-28) at 8 p.m. Central tonight, wrapping up a three-game Western Conference road trip. Tonight’s game begins a stretch of six consecutive contests in which the Pelicans’ opponent is part of the West playoff race.

2) With the game tipping off at 6 p.m. Pacific local time in Oregon, the Pelicans are not holding shootaround this morning. We’ll pick up coverage with our pregame report an hour-plus prior to tip.

3) Anthony Davis’ status for Sunday’s game is to be determined.

4) Speaking of Davis, he and Darius Miller’s Kentucky Wildcats pulled out a thrilling win Saturday in the Final Four over teammate Greg Stiemsma’s Wisconsin Badgers.

5) The Pelicans will be back at home Wednesday to face the Phoenix Suns. Tickets are available here.
