Tyreke Evans expected to play vs. Magic

Prior to tip-off, the Pelicans announced that reserve swingman Tyreke Evans is expected to play vs. Orlando. He missed Friday’s game at Detroit due to illness. Evans is averaging 12.8 points per game this season, New Orleans’ fifth-leading scorer. He has played in 36 of the team’s 42 contests, missing five games due to a left ankle injury and one to last week’s illness.
