Brooklyn Nets Announce 2014-15 Season Schedule

Brooklyn, NY – The Brooklyn Nets will open the 2014-15 season with two road games, including the season opener October 29 at Boston, before returning to Brooklyn to host the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Nets home opener at Barclays Center on Monday, November 3. The Nets will then host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, November 5, the New York Knicks on Friday, November 7 and the Orlando Magic on Sunday, November 9 to complete an early season four-game homestand.

The month of February will see Brooklyn pack its bags to play nine of the team’s 11 games on the road, including eight consecutive contests from February 7-28. As the season comes to a close, the Nets will play eight of their final 11 games at Barclays Center.

Other notable games on the home schedule include a Wednesday, December 3 matchup against the defending NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs, and two Brooklyn appearances each by the Cleveland Cavaliers (December 8 & March 27) and Chicago Bulls (November 30 & April 13).

Brooklyn will appear on national TV a total of 10 times over the course of the upcoming campaign, including two games on ESPN, two games on TNT and six games on NBATV. The 2014-15 season will mark the 13th consecutive year for the YES Network as the regional home of the Nets.

Individual game tickets will go on sale Thursday, August 21 at 8:00 a.m. and can be purchased online via Ticketmaster by visiting Brooklynnets.com or Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800- 745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center beginning Friday, August 22 at noon (subject to availability).
