Orlando started the game by missing its first nine shots and things didn’t get much better throughout a forgettable, 11-point first quarter. The Magic missed on 11 of their first 12 tries with the only make being s point-blank tip-in by Vucevic.

Before Arron Afflalo hit a 3-pointer from the right corner with 1:05 to play in the first quarter, Orlando’s starting five missed 13 of its first 14 shot attempts. Orlando missed 18 of its first 21 shots and trailed by as much as 18 points in the first 12 minutes.

``Overall, they started out pretty well and they’ve been playing pretty well and they jumped on us quickly,’’ Vaughn said. ``And the free throw disparity is something we’ll address – being able to play without fouling and getting the other team in the bonus pretty quickly. That’s a quick way to put yourself behind in a game.’’
