Jazz Announce Final Roster for 2014 Summer League

SALT LAKE CITY (July 11, 2014) – The Utah Jazz today announced the final roster for NBA Summer League 2014 in Las Vegas.  Trey Burke, Ian Clark, Rudy Gobert, Erik Murphy and Malcolm Thomas will join 2014 first-round picks Danté Exum and Rodney Hood in headlining the team’s roster.  Two local college products, former University of Utah center Jason Washburn and ex-Weber State guard Nick Covington, will also represent the Jazz in Las Vegas.   The Jazz’s summer league squad will begin play in Las Vegas on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. MT vs. Philadelphia (TV: KJZZ 14, Radio: 1280 AM/97.5 FM).

The Jazz will play three games in the preliminary round of Summer League.  In addition to Saturday’s game vs. Philadelphia, the Jazz is also scheduled to face the Milwaukee Bucks on July 14 at 8:30 p.m. and the Denver Nuggets on July 15 at 6:30 p.m. (all times MT).  Following the preliminary round, the teams will then be seeded in a tournament, which runs through July 21.  Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games.

All three preliminary games will be simulcast on KJZZ channel 14 for over the air, Dish and DirecTV subscribers and Comcast channels 3 (SD) and 657 (HD) as well as on The Zone Sports Network at 97.5 (KZNS FM), 1280 (KZNS AM), and 960 (KOVO AM).  Jazz broadcasters Craig Bolerjack and Ron Boone will provide play-by-play and analysis on both television and radio.

NBA TV will be televising all 67 NBA Summer League games from Las Vegas, including 38 games live during the event, and every game will also be available live at NBA.com/summerleague and on the NBA Summer League app via a subscription-based package.
