THE RESULT
With Head Coach Mike Dunlap being inducted into Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Hall of Fame in Colorado, Assistant Coaches Rick Brunson and Stephen Silas took the helm for the Bobcats in a 79-97 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on July 20, 2012 in Charlotte's final game of NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Kemba Walker led the way again for the Bobcats, scoring 16 points and adding four rebounds.

TURNING POINT
With the score tied 24-24 at the end of the first quarter and all five Bobcats starters having scored, the combination of Memphis guards Josh Shelby and Jerome Randle was too much for Charlotte to handle as they entered the halftime break down, 52-34.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Four Bobcats scored in double figures – Kemba Walker (16), Cory Higgins (15), Bismack Biyombo (10) and Carlon Brown (10)… Bobcats guard Paris Horne had a strong showing with seven rebounds, six points and four assists giving the team a spark off the bench… Memphis ended up hitting 10 3-pointers for the game, seven of which came in the first half.

Josh Shelby led Memphis with a game-high 32 points, going 7 of 11 from behind the arc and a perfect 7 of 7 from the free throw line.

GAME NOTES
Kemba Walker led the NBA Summer League with 5.8 assists per game while averaging 15.8 points… Byron Mullens was close behind Walker, averaging 15.4 points in the NBA Summer League… Rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist missed his fourth-straight game with a sore left knee, while fellow Rookie Jeffery Taylor missed the game with a sore groin.
