Another Charlotte Rollin' Bobcat Will Play Collegiate Ball on Scholarship

March 2, 2011

Another Charlotte Rollin' Bobcat will play collegiate ball on scholarship. The story below from today's Charlotte Observer features Caitlin McDermott's choice to play at the University of Alabama next year.

Including David Wilkes and Tim Caldwell of the adult team who both played at the University of Texas-Arlington (UTA), junior team players who have or will be going to play wheelchair basketball on scholarship include Aaron Gouge (UTA), Jacob Tyree (Illinois), Lindsey Metz (Alabama), Brandon Cook (Arizona), and Jill Moore (Illinois).

The support of the Charlotte Bobcats has been incredibly significant to this success which will continue with more of our kids already being recruited by major colleges. On behalf of the Rollin' Bobcats, our players, parents, families and friends, thank you for the fantastic and heartfelt support you have provided over the years.
