The Cats kept the game close in the first three quarters but could not complete the comeback, falling, 94-75, to Grizzlies on April 9 in Memphis. The Bobcats had three players score in double figures, paced by Kemba Walker (19 points) and followed by Gerald Henderson (13 points) and Jannero Pargo (10 points).
The Cats started the game strong with three lead changes against the Grizzlies in the first quarter even though the Grizzlies led, 28-19, at quarter’s end. Charlotte fought hard to come back in the next two quarters, bringing the score to, 63-57, at the end of the third. Memphis came out strong in the fourth, opening on a 16-point run and the Cats could not manage to close the score afterwards.

The Cats finished shooting 37.5 percent from the field and 14.3 percent from 3-point territory. The Grizzlies finished shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and 23.1 percent from long distance… The Grizzlies beat the Cats in points in the paint (50-34) and in second chance points (19-12)… Charlotte’s defense forced six Memphis turnovers, grabbed two steals and blocked six shots.

Kemba Walker was the lead scorer for the Cats with 19 points on 9-for-17 shooting. He also added three assists.
BOBCATS TOP RESERVE
Jannero Pargo was hot off the bench and the third-leading scorer for the Cats with 10 points. He finished on 4-for-9 shooting. Pargo also dished out an assist.
GRIZZLIES PLAYER OF THE GAME
Mike Conley was the leading scorer for the Grizzlies as he scored 20 points. He finished on 8-for-13 shooting. Conley also dished out seven assists, had two steals and blocked a shot.
