Greensboro Swarm Announce Season Ticket Information for Inaugural 2016-17 NBA D-League Campaign

February 24, 2016 – The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets that will begin play in the 2016-17 season, today announced season ticket prices for the team’s inaugural campaign.  Season tickets will begin as low as $7 per ticket per game, with club seats starting as low as $15 per ticket per game and courtside seats as low as $50 per ticket per game.

“We are excited to officially put season tickets on sale as we take another step in our preparations for our inaugural season,” said Greensboro Swarm President Steve Swetoha.  “We did significant research and analysis in determining our season ticket prices and reached what we believe is an appropriate and affordable set of prices.  Our $7 ticket is in the lower third of the least expensive tickets in the D-League, while each of our courtside prices are in the bottom five in the D-League for their location.”

The renovated fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex will seat 2,118 and include nine different price points for tickets, with five courtside offerings, two club seat offerings and two bleacher offerings.  The five courtside areas include the Hollywood seats between the team benches and the scorer’s table ($65), center courtside ($60) and outer courtside ($55) facing the benches, baseline courtside ($50) and second row baseline tables ($55).  All courtside seats include parking, in-seat service and access to a VIP hospitality area with separate concession stands.  The baseline tables will be located behind the baseline courtside seats and offer a VIP experience for businesses with signage on the table, in-seat service and food and beverage options to purchase.

Additional seating offerings include center court clubs ($22) and outer clubs ($15), which will be seats with backs, along with sideline bleachers ($11) and baseline bleachers ($7).

The Swarm will play 24 home games, and fans purchasing season tickets will save an average of over 20% per ticket per game off of single-game tickets, which will go on sale in the fall. Season ticket members will also receive exclusive benefits such as team autograph sessions, priority for Hornets and Swarm single-game and playoff tickets, discounts on Hornets and Swarm merchandise and more.
