Hornets Recall Aaron Harrison From Erie BayHawks

April 3, 2016 – The Charlotte Hornets announced today the team has recalled guard Aaron Harrison from the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League.

This marked the third assignment to the NBA D-League for Harrison this season (also on assignment Jan. 21 - Jan. 23 and Feb. 3 - Feb. 7 with the Oklahoma City Blue). Harrison averaged 21.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals in nine games (seven starts) while on assignment with Erie, scoring a D-League career-high 34 points on 6-of-11 three-pointers vs. Canton on March 26.

Harrison has seen action in 13 total games in the D-League this season, averaging 17.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 29.8 minutes per game. 

The 21-year-old rookie has appeared in 18 games for Charlotte, averaging 0.7 points and 0.6 rebounds in 4.1 minutes per contest.  The Kentucky product went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft and signed with the Hornets on July 14 as a free agent.
