December 12, 2014By Scierra Bratton

CHARLOTTE BRIDGE HOMEThe Hornets will partner with Charlotte Bridge Home during tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. Charlotte Bridge Home’s mission is to help veterans successfully transition home after military service by identifying their education, employment and healthcare needs as well as connecting them to available community, state and federal resources. With more than 140,000 veterans in the Charlotte region, leadership and direction are needed to ensure these veterans and their families find the resources that will help them succeed. Charlotte Bridge Home’s efforts and leadership in promoting public-private partnerships have been recognized by the Joint Chiefs of Staff Office, US Airways, the Gary Sinise Foundation and the George W. Bush Institute. Charlotte Bridge Home will be providing handouts at the Hornets Community Corner and their display will depict the transition from military to civilian.
