MIAMI – The Miami HEAT announced today that they have partnered with international music sensation and Miami native Pitbull, to create a White Hot HEAT-themed version of his blockbuster hit, “Feel This Moment.” Pitbull personally re-wrote and remixed the song specifically for the 2013 White Hot HEAT Playoffs.
The team will debut the new version of the song as well as a remixed version of the music video during tonight’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals when the HEAT take on the Indiana Pacers. In the music video, Mr. 305 is encouraging HEAT fans from around South Florida to support the Miami HEAT as the team continues its 2013 playoff run. Vibrant images of HEAT players, HEAT fans and the HEAT Experience figure prominently in the video.
“Pitbull is one of Miami’s native sons and we’re thrilled at the chance to collaborate with him on this creative project,” said Eric Woolworth, President of The HEAT Group’s Business Operations. “HEAT fans are clearly going to ‘feel the moment’ as well as the love when they hear the song and watch the video.”
“Feel This Moment” was originally released in February. The global smash hit features pop superstar Christina Aguilera. The duo surprised fans over the weekend at the Billboard Music Awards with surprise appearance with A-HA frontman Morton Harket. The song is also being featured on ABC during its national broadcast coverage of the 2013 NBA Playoffs.
