Matthew Jafarian leads the Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center's Business Strategy division, which is responsible for technology, data & analytics, strategy, and more. In his eight years with the HEAT, Matthew has led the digital transformation of the business and earned industry honors from Leaders Under 40 as well as local recognition from South Florida Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.

Matthew also co-founded 601 Analytics, an in-house data and analytics company that delivers insights on every aspect of the sports and live entertainment business: ticketing, food & beverage, retail, sponsorship, and more for games, concerts and events, providing a real-time view into a franchise’s business operations. 601 Analytics' client list has grown to include 20% of the NBA, teams in the NFL, NHL, and MLB, the world’s largest arena developer, and the NBA league office.

Prior to Sports & Entertainment, Matthew built a startup that launched apps for Verizon, Mandarin Oriental, and many other leading brands. In 2014, his company was acquired by Phunware, where he went on to lead product development.

Matthew is proud to serve on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami and on the South Florida Leadership Council of Special Olympics Florida.
