New Long-Term Agreement Will Keep Sharecare as the Jersey Patch Partner for the Upcoming Season; Beginning in 2023-24 Season, Will Introduce New Community Programs Focused on Bettering the Well-being of Greater Atlanta and Beyond

ATLANTA –&nbsp;The Atlanta Hawks andSharecare (Nasdaq:&nbsp;SHCR), the digital health company that helps people manage all their health in one place, today announced a new multi-year partnership extension that will re-imagine and strengthen the impact the two Atlanta brands can make together in their shared vision of increasing community well-being through positive behavior change. Sharecare and the Hawks began their innovative partnership prior to the 2017-18 season as part of the NBA’s Jersey Patch pilot program and simultaneously launched the Sharecare Movement, a multi-platform initiative aimed at making Atlanta one of the healthiest communities and Georgia one of the healthiest states in the country. The innovative partnership was honored with the 2018 NBA Partnership of the Year Award.

Throughout the partnership, Sharecare has served as presenting partner of several highly visible, community-focused events including the Forever 404 Honors program, True to the Dream Honors program, the Atlanta Hawks Sharecare Scrimmage, the Hawks Fast Break 5K and the Sharecare Heartbeat Festival which featured a city-wide 3v3 tournament.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hawks Foundation joined Sharecare’s “Shots for Heroes” initiative, which provided immunity-boosting juice shots to local healthcare workers and first responders fighting the impact of COVID-19 in Atlanta from the frontlines. State Farm Arena, the home of the Hawks, became the first sports and entertainment venue in the country to successfully become Sharecare Health Security VERIFIED®, addressing the critical need to establish confidence with sports fans and live event attendees, as well as players, performers, and employees in the age of COVID-19 and beyond.

Through local and national broadcasts, unique social content on Hawks channels, visible in-arena assets and the Hawks rapid rise from rebuilding team to 2021 Eastern Conference finalist, Sharecare’s heart logo and platform gained national awareness and recognition. Since the first year of the partnership, Sharecare saw its social engagements increase over 615%, QI social media value soar by 759% and TV exposure hits grow by 329%.

Highlights of the partnership have included the Sharecare logo being prominently displayed on national TV during the debut of the Hawks iconic MLK uniforms prior to 2020 NBA Finals Game 3 on ABC, Pope Francis blessing the Hawks MLK uniform, and the Sharecare logo featured on the Hawks popular return to its classic uniform colors in 2020.

Hawks Put On A Show At Ultimate Fan Experience

ATLANTA -– More than 100 Atlanta Hawks ‘super fans’ had an afternoon they won’t soon forget at the Ultimate Fan Experience presented by Sharecare on Saturday, Oct. 13. The private event, held at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex, gave the attendees the chance to meet first-year Hawks Head Coach Lloyd Pierce and members of their favorite NBA squad following a team practice session held just a few days before the start of the regular season. The participating fans, who were selected through a combination of video submissions and sweepstakes entries, were given special access to the state-of-the-art Hawks practice facility and training center.

Participating fans were given an unprecedented tour of the official training and practice facility of the Hawks, including the club’s locker room, gym and dining areas, as well as front-row seats to watch the team run drills on the court. The lucky fans also sampled some of the same custom, nutritious snacks that get the Hawks “game-ready” at the facility’s Sharecare Kitchen. After practice, fans took pictures with Coach Pierce and players, and took home Sharecare swag.

The event was made possible by the partnership that began in 2017 between the Hawks and Sharecare, the Atlanta-based digital health company. Sharecare is the official jersey patch partner for the Hawks and as part of the partnership, both organizations launched the Sharecare Movement – an initiative aimed at making Atlanta and Georgia among the healthiest places to live in the country. Through this partnership, both organizations are also bringing unique co-branded digital and social content, in-arena and media branding, and major community events with access to wellness programs and education for people across the state of Georgia.

ATLANTA -– Sharecare and the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club received the NBA Partnership of the Year award for delivering the best partner-driven campaign for the 2017-18 season, having faced competition from some of the world’s leading brands. Prior to the season, the two Atlanta-based organizations entered into an innovative, multi-year collaborative agreement and launched the Sharecare Movement, aimed at making Atlanta and Georgia among the healthiest places to live in the country. 

The multi-platform strategy utilized a combination of unique co-branded digital and social content, major community events with access to wellness programs and education, in-arena and media branding along with the visibility of their jersey partnership to grow the Sharecare Movement.

The Hawks and Sharecare also collaborated to onboard local organizations and employers to extend the reach of the Sharecare Movement. Throughout the season, Sharecare announced key partnerships with the Georgia Department of Community Health to bring Sharecare’s comprehensive wellness resources to more than 400,000 members of the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP); and Emory Healthcare on the upcoming launch of the Emory Healthcare Innovation Lab powered by Sharecare. Emory Healthcare, with more than 17,000 employees and seven hospitals, is the most comprehensive academic health system in Georgia and the official sports medicine provider of the Hawks.

The partnership will continue to grow inside the soon-to-be transformed Philips Arena. Sharecare will have high-impact branding with a new Sharecare section, where fans who actively participate in the movement can be rewarded with free seats at home games, as well as in the arena’s new unique Atlanta Social suites, which Sharecare will utilize to reward members of the community who embody the spirit of “sharing care” – such as nurses, firemen, law enforcement officers and public school teachers – for hitting certain healthy living goals. Additionally, Sharecare and the Hawks will offer healthy food choices at the arena, and co-create ergonomic chairs to be used for both the Hawks and visiting team benches, slated to launch in the 2018-19 season.

ATLANTA – Sharecare and the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club today announced a multi-year partnership in which the digital health company’s logo will appear on Hawks uniforms beginning in the 2017-18 season, and the two Atlanta-based organizations will launch the Sharecare Movement, aimed at making Atlanta one of the healthiest communities and Georgia one of the healthiest states in the country. The landmark agreement reflects the organizations’ shared vision to positively impact their community through technology, innovation and the promotion of healthy living and fitness.

According to the Gallup-Sharecare Well-Being Index, Atlanta ranks #83 out of 129 communities with Georgia ranking #29 out of 50 states. In order to empower each person to improve their health, and place Atlanta and Georgia in the top quartiles of those respective lists by 2020, beginning this October, Sharecare will offer Georgia residents special access to its new comprehensive digital platform that helps people easily take control of and manage all their health in one place. Founded by digital health pioneer Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz, Sharecare provides each person with an ultra-personalized way to connect to the information, tools and experts they need to live their healthiest, happiest and most productive life.

The Hawks and Sharecare plan to collaborate on major community initiatives aimed at improving the well-being and health of Atlantans, including pop-up health engagements, unique co-branded digital and social campaigns and content, and the introduction of wellness programs to give people an easier way to access care in a time when the pursuit of good health can be overwhelming and expensive. Inside the transformed Philips Arena, Sharecare will have high-impact branding with a new Sharecare section, where fans who actively participate in the movement can be rewarded with free seats at home games. Additionally, Sharecare and the Hawks will offer healthy food choices at the arena, and co-create ergonomic chairs to be used for the Hawks bench slated to launch in the 2018-2019 season. 

Sharecare and the Hawks also are collaborating to onboard local organizations and employers as partners to foster powerful connection points across the community and extend the reach of the Sharecare Movement. Partner participation in the Sharecare Movement will take many forms, while being focused on providing incentives and rewards for those who exhibit improved health outcomes through the movement.

As part of the innovative partnership, Sharecare will become the presenting sponsor of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network and, with the Hawks, will create compelling content that will air on FOX Sports, the TV home of the franchise. In conjunction with the Sharecare mobile app and web platform, these radio and TV extensions provide additional ways to share valuable health and wellness information with Georgia residents on all platforms, and inspire them to participate in the Sharecare Movement.

Nike will become the NBA’s official uniform supplier and provide all uniform and apparel for the club beginning this season. The Sharecare logo will be prominently displayed on the left front shoulder strap of official Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club jerseys. Jersey sponsorships were approved by the NBA as part of a three-year pilot program in April 2016.
