The NBA has announced that Kyle Korver will participate in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest at All-Star Weekend as part of a field that includes the top four players in 3PM per game.

Korver is one of only four players making at least 3 threes per contest.  The other three, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Wesley Matthews, will also participate in the contest.  James Harden is fifth on the list, and JJ Redick is 10th. Both will also participate, making this the most loaded field of participants in recent memory.

Kyrie Irving and 2014 champion Marco Belinelli round out the field.  Korver will shoot 7th of the 8 participants in the first round, meaning he'll likely know what he needs in order to advance.

Korver leads the league in three-point percentage at 53.2%.  One of the premiere shooters in the game, he opted not to participate in the contest the first two years he was in Atlanta, choosing instead to take the time off.

Jeff Teague will participate in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge for the second time in three years.  This year's format is new, with a bracket to determine the champion.  Teague's first-round opponent is Philadelphia 76ers point guard Michael Carter-Williams.

Dominique Wilkins will once again team with Chris Bosh and Swin Cash in the Degree Shooting Stars, looking to win for the third consecutive year.

Korver Headlines Loaded Three-Point Field At All-Star Weekend

Kyle Korver and Klay Thompson had a friendly three-point shootout after the Team USA training session Wednesday in Las Vegas.

Two of the top shooters in basketball lit it up from seven spots on the floor in a catch-and-shoot format.  Korver won (barely) by beating Thompson at four of the seven spots.
