The Memphis Grizzlies today announced that playoff tickets for Game 5 (Home Game 3), presented by Sonic Drive-In, will go on sale today, April 28 at Noon.  Game 5 against the Portland Trail Blazers is slated for Wednesday, April 29 at 8:30 p.m. at FedExForum. In addition, MVP Season Ticket Holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance during a pre-sale event two hours prior to the on-sale at 10 a.m. today. MVPs will receive an email with pre-sale instructions.

Single Game Tickets for Game 5 of NBA Playoffs on sale today at Noon

Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph has added to the excitement of the Grizzlies’ playoff home opener by purchasing 300 tickets that will be given away to Grizzlies fans in the FedExForum Grand Lobby immediately following the team’s practice on Saturday, April 18 at approximately 2 p.m.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be a limit of two tickets per person.

The Grizzlies will host the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the First Round of the 2015 NBA Playoffs, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 19 at FedExForum presented by Memphis Toyota Dealers and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the Playoff Plaza Party presented by Southland Park Gaming &amp; Racing. Beginning two hours prior to tip-off, the Plaza Party will feature live music, Grizzlies inflatables, face painters, balloon artists, official Grizzlies merchandise and more. Other highlights include appearances from Grizz, the Grizz Girls and Grizzline. Additionally, all doors for Home Games 1 and 2 will open two hours prior to tipoff for MVPs (5 p.m.) and to the general public 90 minutes before tip (5:30 p.m.).

With a finalized schedule and new Western Conference Playoffs opponent, it’s time for the City of Memphis to believe again. Game 1 (Sunday, April 19 at 7 p.m.) will mark the reappearance of the beloved “Believe Memphis” Growl Towel, presented by Memphis Toyota Dealers and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. The Memphis Grizzlies’ First Round Playoff series with the Portland Trail Blazers will be televised locally on SportSouth and FOX Sports Tennessee, the team announced today.

Games 1, 3, 4 and 6 of the best of seven series with the Trail Blazers will be shown on SportSouth, while Games 2 and 5 will be televised by FOX Sports Tennessee.

Games will continue to feature play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica, analysts Brevin Knight, Sean Tuohy and sideline reporter Rob Fischer and will be shown in high definition. Coverage of each game begins 30 minutes prior to tip-off with GRIZZLIES LIVE! Pregame, and will be followed by postgame analysis hosted by Fischer featuring Knight and Pranica.  Plus, for all home games, 92.9 radio personality Chris Vernon will continue his analysis during GRIZZLIES LIVE! pregame, halftime and Grizzlies LIVE! Postgame.

The  Memphis Grizzlies’ schedule for the 2015 Western Conference First Round Playoff  series against the Portland Trail Blazers is set, with the Grizzlies beginning  at home in FedExForum for Games 1 and 2 beginning Sunday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m.  (all times CT). Grizzlies announce First Round Playoff matchup and schedule for 2015 Playoffs

It’s time to Believe, Memphis!  For the fifth consecutive season, the Memphis Grizzlies are back in the NBA Playoffs, and the City of Memphis is joining its team in “painting the town blue and gold.” Many local landmarks will support the Grizzlies in unique ways throughout the Grizzlies Playoffs run. The 2015 Grizzlies Playoffs are presented by Memphis Toyota Dealers and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.

Starting tomorrow, April 16, Mayor A C Wharton will tip-off the city’s participation in the NBA Playoffs with a flag raising declaring, “that we are the capital city for Grizz Nation. The flag represents the creed of OUR team and OUR city - grit and grind."   The presentation will be held at the south end of Mud Island at the flag poles at 3 p.m.  Media is invited to attend.

Grizz Nation playoff “fandemonium” will continue on Friday, April 17 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a Swag Pickup, presented by Southland Park Gaming &amp; Racing, inside the FedExForum Grand Lobby where fans can get Believe Memphis sunglasses and commemorative playoff posters. Fans who attend the Swag Pickup will also have the opportunity to purchase tickets for Friday’s Black &amp; Brown Comedy Get Down Tour featuring Cedric “The Entertainer”, D.L. Hughley, Eddie Griffin, Charlie Murphy, Mike Epps and George Lopez.

Following the mayor’s lead – Elvis Presley’s Graceland will celebrate the Grizzlies’ success by illuminating the exterior of the famous Memphis landmark in Beale Street Blue and Grizzlies Gold for the duration of the Grizzlies’ playoff run. As a proud partner since the team came to Memphis, First Tennessee will do its part by spelling out “Go Grizz” on all four sides of their iconic downtown building as the playoffs start this weekend. At the Memphis Zoo, the Avenue of Animals will be adorned with custom-fabrications emblazoned with the Grizzlies logo (see attached photo.) Additionally, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music and the Orpheum Theater will both display “Believe Memphis” on their marquees, as select Sonic Drive-Ins will also display the mantra on their digital billboards.

An exciting addition to the Grizzlies’ playoff run is the Grizzlies License Plate, finally available for fans who ordered them last fall. Fans can pick up their pre-ordered plate from the Shelby County Clerk’s Office. Confirmation letters were mailed out last week and will need to be presented at the clerk’s office in order to pick up the plate.

The online and phone on-sale begins Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. The 2015 Grizzlies Playoffs are presented by Memphis Toyota dealers and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.

In an effort to ensure fans receive the best inventory and the best prices, the Grizzlies will be hosting a FedExForum Box Office Playoff Presale Event on Friday, April 10.  Starting at 4 p.m., all members of Grizz Nation will be able to purchase tickets to Round 1 Home Games 1 and 2 exclusively at the FedExForum Box Office. There will be a limit of 4 tickets per game per purchase.
