On tonight’s game:
This was a nice road win and an especially nice win for me to come in here and go against a guy (Scott Skiles) I respect so much. We held them to 38 percent shooting and 81 points; I just like the way we came out in the third quarter. We were really focused, our defense was good and our execution offensively was good. What can I say about Marc Gasol. He came in had 24 points and 16 rebounds. He took the challenge of going against Andrew Bogut, who is a pretty good center himself, and he came out and took control of the post area.

On points in the paint:
That’s our game. We had 72 in the previous game, but we lead the league in points in the paint and we led the league last year in this category. That’s who we are and we try to find ways to attack the paint whether it’s off the dribble, pick and roll, or straight post-up.

On finishing the game:
We have just been consistent. We were able to get stops, we had good quarters (especially the third quarter) and Marc had a great game. He played hard tonight and was able to get us a win and we all contributed to that.

On Marc Gasol:
That’s what our coach preaches (inside-out). Get the inside going and play off the inside guys, that’s what we did tonight and Marc had it going.
